* Isaac floats up thru the floor and thru Kai's book. ~Yo.~ * Kairi reacts as is to be expected by someone who's just been scared a quarter to death. "YAAAAI!" Thankfully he doesn't land too hard behind the sofa. * Isaac smiles. ~Gotcha. So, whatcha reading?~ * Isaac floats higher and starts reading the book. ~Hmmm... oh, homework. I didn't think you had the initiative in you.~ ^_^ Well, I still hafta do my share of things... and please, don't do that again. o_o * Kairi pauses to catch his breath, then kippups to his feet. * Isaac would giggle if he could. ~Hehe. Just making sure you're still awake, instead of sleeping.~ * Isaac looks up at Kairi. ~So, are you familiar with shamanism?~ ... not in the slightest. ^^; * Isaac looks at Kairi. ~You sure?~ His eyes blink red. I'm pretty much positive. All I know is how to hit things with a stick, when you boil it all down. ^^; ~Hmmm... That's gonna make things kinda hard then, isn't it.~ ~But apparently, you have a lot of potential for this shaman stuff.~ Wait... do you know something I don't, because if you do, I'd really appreciate you telling me about it... * Kairi frowns, more in a 'gosh, what's happening with my life?' kinda way. ~As far as I can tell, and from what I've been told, there are people called 'shamans' who can channel spirits, such as myself, thru their bodies.~ ... wait a second, so... but I was out to lunch when you first hopped into me. I dunno if that mattered, but... ~I dunno if it mattered either. But it's a shot at letting me actually do something.~ ~What do you think about it?~ I... well, I'm really thankful you didn't get me too beaten up, and I do kinda feel bad that you don't get to do stuff normally... and besides, if I'm remembering what you lat me remember right, you're a pretty neat fighter. ^_^ * Isaac 'picks up' a pencil and starts twirling it. ~Hope said that too.~ Well, you are. ~And I really didn't know you'd be comming back. I treated that body as if it were my own, because for all I was concerned, it was.~ ^^; * Kairi shrugs lightly. "True, true... but here I am, and here's our little predicament." ~You're telling me. Yoh said that in order for me to move on, there's something I gotta do, like live a full life.~ ~And you might not know it yet, but living a full life is kinda hard when you're dead.~ ^_^ * Kairi snickers. "Well, you're not completely dead, I guess... you're here, and... well.. *is* there anything you can do? I mean, like... I dunno, try to hop back in again?" ~If I could, I would have done it a *long* time ago. I find it amazing that I can still interact, kinda, with the real world.~ I guess you're special, somehow. Wish I *knew* how... * Kairi sighs and hops back into his chair. ~I am kinda special in that I'm psychic and telekinetic when I'm dead, but there are lots of ghosts in the school.~ * Isaac looks at his book. ~What were you stuck on, anyways?~ Beh, I'm still kinda zoned out after all that happened; just muddling through a bunch of geometry self-test thingies to refresh. ~Well, you were out for a week. And I've never been an inert soul before.~ ~What was it like? Or would you mind me looking in your head for it?~ ... er, go ahead and peek in. Just leave things the way you found them. ^^; ~Dude, messing with that stuff is beyond dangerous. I don't do anything *but* transfer information.~ * Isaac moves forward and puts his hand on Kai's head. His eyes flash red for a few seconds. * Isaac takes his hand off. ~Man, you need to work on your math. And I'm sure the ranking will work fine. After all, you have me here.~ ^_^ ... yeah, true. And thanks... * Kairi manages a smile. ~Don't mention it. You guys look like the only team that can see me anyways. Why would I want to loose that?~ True. Maybe it's because they were around you to begin with? ~Yoh said it was because the only people that can see spirits are those with a good heart, or truly powerful warriors. You know what that means?~ ... I've got a good heart? Well, I know *that* already.... OH! *Ooooooooh*! * Kairi suddenly has it dawn on him. You can hear the lightbulb being turned on. ~Exactly.~ Then that's something we gotta live up to! ~Some of you guys have farther to go than others, but I'm pretty positive you'll all make it.~ * Kairi nods. "Still... where does that leave you?" ~Me? Well, as far as having a good heart, I think I got one. I gave your body back, after all. But all spirits can see eachother, good or bad.~ So there are other spirits around here, then? ~Yeah. Some of them are really powerful too.~ * Kairi nods slowly. "So... mmmn..." ~It's up to you on if you want to try to become one of these shamans in the first place. If ya don't, I'm sure I can find someone else, but... I'd rather not look to a different team.~ I... I don't want yo wandering off somewhere, Isaac. I may not be leader anymore, but I'm still not going to let go of my desire to help the team... and you're a part now. * Kairi resumes a-smilin'. "If that means giving this... 'shaman' business a try, then so be it." * Isaac smiles. ~Good. 'cuz if you didn't you'd never hear the end of it from me.~ * Kairi rolls his eyes. "Let me guess, you'd start tossing paperclips at me or somethin'." ~Ice in your bed.~ ~And don't think I wouldn't.~ ^_^ You would. ¬_¬ ~Anyways, back to the problem at hand. You need to do your homework, and I can't have anyone on my team failing courses.~ R-right! I'll do my best! So... um, don't scare me anymore during homework time, okay? ~Scare you? Heck, I'll help you out. Knowledge is power, they always say.~ Oh! Oh, thanks! ^^ ~But I'm not giving you any answers. You don't learn anything just writing that stuff down.~ Well, of course! It's like fighting... you won't know how just by imitating. You have to put your own heart and soul into the motions to make the fight your own! * Kairi even clenches a righteous fist while saying this. All in all, it's a weird image. * Isaac blinks at Kairi. ~And you need to work on your image.~ ... huh? What? * Kairi blinks innocently. ~Oh, nothing.~ * Kairi shrugs it off. "Right, then... back to geometry." Needless to say, he hits the books with fervor, passion, and mild confusion. * Isaac looks at the book. ~Now, how many degrees are in a triangle?~
