Polish Mine Detectors are people who have had it with trying and failing to find traps. Instead of finding and disabling the traps, or having a qualified professional take care of it, they trip the traps an to hell with the consequences. They sacrifice much of their fighting ability in order to better build up toughness, reflexes, instincts, and plain luck. Hit Die: d12 Requirements: Search: Zero or fewer ranks. AC Bonus - The PMD recieves a Luck bonus to AC equal to his PMD level, for all purposes. Save Bonus - This is a bonus to all of the PMD's base save scores. For a PMD, _all_ saves are important. Trap Evasion - If a trap allows a save for partial effect, _any_ save, the Polish Mine Detector saves for no effect. This ability takes effect regardless of what armor the Polish Mine Detector is wearing. Speed Increase - Each time the PMD gains this ability, his base speed increases by five feet. Falling - Any distance the PMD falls is reduced by this amount, due to the PMD's intense falling training. Uncanny Dodge - The PMD gains the listed bonus to all his saves against traps. This ability increases by +1 at every even PMD level. Bonus Fighter Feat - The PMD gains a bonus feat from the Fighter list in the Player's Handbook. Poison Immunity - The PMD becomes immune to all poisons, natural, magical, and other.
