[Back in the dungeon, Cara and Daphne were just starting to leave to cart Shiho
back to Tyr, hoping that Tithian could do something.]
[Session Start]
* There is a flash of industrial light and cuteness, and Amy deplushifies.
<Daphne> Huh? Oh. Hi, Amy. Shiho's dead.
<Amy> ...
* Cara finds herself clutching Amy in her arms. "Gack."
<Amy> What?
* Cara quickly lets go. "She...the trap killed her."
<Amy> ... This is a joke, right?
* Cara shakes her head, still teary eyed, and points a Shiho's body.
<Daphne> Nope. Released some kind of poison gas when she opened it. Killed her
*fast*. I don't even know if she had time to regester... but nevermind.
* Amy quickly runs over and checks Shiho for breathing or a pulse or anything
like that.
<Amy> ... She's not dead.
<Cara> ...what?
<Amy> She's not dead.
<Amy> She doesn't have a pulse, and she's not breathing, but she also isn't
dead.
<Daphne> Eh?
<Cara> How...how can you tell?
<Amy> It's like she's.. frozen in time or somethin'.
<Amy> I just know.
<Daphne> That... okay.
<Daphne> I can accept that. Honest.
* Cara starts crying again. "Shiho....Shiho's alive!"
* Daphne thinks. "You say she's frozen. Does this mean she also isn't in the
process of dying?"
<Amy> I don't think she's dying. Just.. knocked out or something.
<Cara> Then we gotta take her to Tithian!  If anyone knows about this, he would!
<Amy> Yeah..
* DeadShiho sits bolt upright. "Hu- Aaagh!" She clutches herself in pain.
* Daphne nods, and, sounding relieved, says "That's reassuring, at least. Think
it'll wear off? Or do you have no way of knowing?"
* Amy jumps in surprise.
<Amy> I.. think it'll wear off. ^_^;
* Cara jumps as well.
<Cara> Sh...Shiho!
* Daphne blinks. "Oh. I held myself answered." She kneels next to Shiho. "How're
you feeling?"
<Amy> 'lo Shiho. They thought you were dead, but I told them you wern't.
* Shiho rubs her forehead. "Aching all over. Last thing I remember was opening
that chest."
* Cara runs and glomps onto Shiho. "You're alive!"
<Shiho> Yeah...
<Cara> I...I thought you were dead...
<Rocky> Gimme a hug too! ;_;
* Amy hugs Rocky.
<Daphne> Heeeeey, Rocky!
<Amy> Aww. You're so adorable.
<Cara> I'm so glad you're alive...
* Shiho considers. "Hmm... It was probably a Feign Death spell. Damn, I
should've been more careful."
<Rocky> Me too!
* Daphne nods.
<Cara> We'll all be more careful now. ^_^
* Cara is still hugging Shiho, by the way.
<Rocky> What was in the chest, by the way?
* Shiho is aching too much to care right now.
* Rocky waves his paws. "What was in the chest? Huh? Shiny stuff?
<Daphne> No idea. Didn't want to risk looking in case it wasn't just a one-time
trap.
<Amy> Uh.. then I guess we should check the chest.
<Amy> I.. I'll do it if you want. ^_^;
<Daphne> Yup.
* Shiho shakes her head. "It doesn't matter now that we know what the trap
does."
<Daphne> Nah, I'll get it.
<Shiho> ...And you can let go of me now, Cara.
* Cara blinks, blushes, and quickly lets go of Shiho.
<Cara> S-sorry!
* Daphne looks around, pops her neck. "You feel up to heading back into the
dungeon, Shiho?"
* Shiho gets to her feet, a bit shaky. "Yeah. I'm not injured. I just ache all
over. It should pass shortly.
* Rocky hops out of Amy's arms and onto Shiho's shoulder.
* Daphne nods. "Alright."
* Daphne gets a torch out.
* Daphne lights it, and heads for the dungeon entrance.
* Shiho follows Daphne.
