Wang-Fu 1/level Normal Character Attribute Each level of this attribute allows you to take one Wang-Fu ability. Note that Wang-Fu does not necessarily imply any martial arts ability, as many abilities may be used just as well by backstreet brawlers and professional wrestlers as they are by martial artists. Blindfighting The character suffers no penalties for fighting in conditions in which he cannot see his opponent. Precise Strike The character reduces the penalty of a called shot by 3, to a minimum penalty of 0. Judge Opponent See the Kensei ability of the same name. Sunder The Wang-meister is skilled in the art of breaking. He gains a -4 bonus to any roll to hit an object in an attempt to break it, and a -4 bonus to any Body check to break inanimate objects. Midair Combat Prerequisite: Jumping level 1 or higher. The Wang-meister is skilled in midair beatdown. He gains a bonus to hit and damage equal to his level of Acrobatics when engaging an enemy in midair combat, and he may deliver all his attacks for a round in a single jump. This is particularly effective when combatting flying enemies. Flurry of Blows The Wang-meister can throw punches with astounding speed. By taking a +3 penalty to hit, the Wang-meister's attack gains the Autofire attribute. Circle Kick The Wang-meister can become like a whirling dervish, a veritable tornado of fists, feet, elbows, knees, and various other body parts. By giving up all his actions for one round, the Wang-meister may take one attack against every opponent within his immediate reach. Pressure Point Strike The Wang-meister can strike pressure points to have interesting effects on the human body. The Wang-meister may make a called shot to reduce the body of his opponent by 1 in addition to his normal damage. Fighterdoken! The Wang-meister is skilled in using his opponents as weapons. After making a successful grapple attack, the Wang-meister may immediately use his opponent as a weapon to attack another person within a short distance. If the Wang-meister possesses one or more levels of Super Strength, he may also use the victim as a missile weapon. Most human beings will do five damage as a base and are treated as any other weapon for additional damage. Once this ability is taken, the Wang-meister may take Focused Damage in humans. Body Hardening The Wang-meister has practiced by doing such things as sitting under waterfalls, punching rice, stone, sand, and other such thing, or maybe has just often been beaten to a bloody pulp. In any case, the Wang-meister's skin has been hardened to blows from blunt instruments. All damage from any blunt instrument is reduced by five points. If the Wang-meister already has inherent armor, whether natural or artificial in nature, such as subdermal cybernetic armor, or naturally tough skin, Body Hardening gives no benefit. Deflect/Catch Missiles The Wang-meister has mastered the art of deflecting thrown or shot weapons. This allows him to use unarmed defense against ranged weapons. The GM should assign an increasingly large penalty for successively powerful weaponry, and the Wang-meister should beware of missiles which have proximity detonators. Strike With No Thought Defensive Screen Power Attack Berserker The Mountain Does Not Fall Taking The Gift Let Him Go By Prepared Speed of Spirits Soul of the Wind Strike First, Strike Last Furious Assault These act exactly as the Kensei abilities of the same names. The Mountain Does Not Move The Wang-meister is as the proverbial immovable object. Moving him without his permission is nearly impossible. For purposes of resisting unwanted movement, the Wang-meister's Body is doubled, as is any bonus recieved from Super Strength. WHO WANTS SOME WANG!? The Wang-meister makes a defiant proclamation of his readiness to most righteouly lay down the smack. The Wang-meister makes a Soul/Intimidation(Threats) check. If successful, all enemies within hearing range of the Wang-meister must immediately perform one of two actions. They must either flee like the cowardly dogs they are, or they must immediately switch their attacks to the Wang-meister. This ability _may_ be used before Taking The Gift, and overrides that ability's internal restriction. Using this ability counts as a single action unless used in the same round as Taking The Gift, when it counts as a free action. Once initiated, any enemy that is attacked by anyone other than the Wang-meister is immediately free to resume their former actions. Momentum This ability functions as the Gun Bunny ability of the same name. Cleansing Spirit Once per day per time this ability is taken, the Wang-meister may focus his energies, get really angry, or otherwise cause his body to instantaneously regenerate itself of an amount of damage equal to the number of Wang-Fu abilities he knows, including this one. Heart of Stone The Wang-meister may spend 20 energy to lower the damage of all attacks against him by the number of Wang-Fu abilities he knows, to a minimum of 1, for one round. He may activate this ability as someone is hitting him, and need not have an action readied, and the protection will last until the beginning of his next action. Strike at the Soul After you have successfully struck with an unarmed attack, you may expend up to ten times your Soul in energy. The person you have just hit is forced to expend an equal amount of energy.
