[Last Time, on El WHAT?!: Emmet returned, having blinked for rather longer than his comrade had the day before. Once he obtained for himself a massive weapon, the group left town, thankfully not being chased, and walked down the beach until they reached the river. They started up the river, and entered the forest just before we left them.] [Now, they're proceeding further into the forest, and as they follow the river inland, it rather strangely widens a little, letting slightly more light through, and letting them see more of the majesty of the forest.] [The forest itself is very thickly wooded, but the floor is very soft, and easy on the feet.] [Session... START] * Emmet divides his attention between the trees and the river and the way the sunlight filters through on everything, and the trail he's walking on and the sounds--in short, he's paying attention to pretty much everything except the other people in the group. Every once in a while he takes an unconscious double-step, as if he's eager to run somewhere. * A raccoon peeks out at Emmet from the roots of a tree. * Fadi glances around and smiles. He's not calm, but he's got that smile on his face too... * Sophie walks along easily enough, cautious but not paranoid. * Tiffany takes a deep breath, savoring the smell of the river and woods. Her eyes glitter in the shade, scanning the river idly for movement. Her arms are lazily crossed behind the Auryn on her back. * Harold is trudging along with his hood up, the natural beauty rapidly losing its appeal as fatigue begins setting in. * Carries his axe in his right hand, keeping the blade angled slightly away from him. He smiles a little at the racoon, but tries not to be distracted to the point of slowing the group down. * Nick is walking uneasily in his armor, hand on the sheathed short sword. * The raccoon gets spooked and runs away. * A bird trills happily overhead. * Fadi relaxes somewhat. He's taking more of the natural beauty in now, and not paying as much attention to his aching feet. Assuming they ache. * A fish leaps out of the river and snaps an insect from the air before falling back with a light sploosh. * Fadi's feet ache, to remind him not to forget them. * Fadi doesn't show that they ache. Gotta keep appearances up, you know. * Emmet continues to enjoy the sylvan setting, though he does make sure to keep that axe blade away from his legs. * Sophie reminds herself how happy she is that her weapon isn't some big heavy thing like some of them have. * Tiffany jumps a little at the fish, but begins to relax quickly afterward, tucking her arms into the folds on the front of her shirt. * Sophie says hurriedly, "Emmet, Fadi! Don't move." * Fadi stops moving the instant she says that. * Tiffany brings her arms out of the folds on her shirt, bringing with them a dart, held at the ready. * Emmet freezes. * Sophie draws her sword and advances towards them slowly. * Fadi and Emmet freeze in mid-step and BARELY miss stepping on the massive boa constrictor-like snake right under their feet. The snake finishes slithering into the water to eat some nice big fish. * Tiffany holds as still as she can, her grip on the dart going wet with a sudden burst of nervous sweat. ...Well, that was lucky. * Sophie sheathes her sword and relaxes. "You have to be careful in the wilderness." * Fadi nods. "Snakes. Why did it have to be snakes." * Tiffany lets out a big breath... and hops back quickly. Yeah. Even if it wasn't venemous, it's never a good idea to make a snake angry. Espically one so... big. * Sophie puts her hands on her hips. "Well, not that that little ordeal is over with, what's say we be on our way?" At least it didn't go after us... * Fadi starts walking again. "Yes, let's." * Emmet nods the moment Sophie's made the suggestion and proceeds with the others. * Sophie continues walking. * Tiffany moves away from the river, putting the party between herself and the snake... but trying really poorly to make it look like she's doing it for no reason in particular. * Harold sighs and keeps going onward. * Nick follows the group. * Fadi winces as he's walking. "Dammit..." He looks around just as he stops... Last thing we want is to stop where the gobbos are waiting for us. * Harold 's pace slows, and then he's eventually forced to a standstill. He winces as he turns back to speak with the others. "... I think... maybe we should take another break." * Tiffany stops to wait for Fadi and Harold, a condescending smile gracing her face at the realization that this time it's the guys that are getting tired. * Emmet slows and then stops so as not to be separated from the others. This doesn't keep him from looking around at the forest and river most of the time. * Sophie shrugs and points. "There's a small clearing up ahead. Let's stop there." * Fadi nods. Alright, that's fine. We don't need long... just a moment. * Emmet nods when Sophie points. "You two can sit on the log, maybe." * Harold tries to smile at the others, but it probably doesn't come off very well. * Tiffany shrugs. "I may not be a woodsman, but are we safer *in* a clearing? It would seem to me that we'd make good targets." I actually agree with Tiffany. Let's rest here... that clearing looks too convient. * Sophie shrugs. * Nick shrugs, seemingly untired. ... I really don't care where it is, as long as I get to rest soon. * Fadi pulls a blanket out of his backpack, puts it down, and sits on it. He takes off his shoes and empties them of stuff that's worked its way in there. "Soon is now." * Emmet peers ahead at the clearing, and takes a few extra steps toward it. "It's not like there's a lot of sunlight there, but..." He shrugs when Fadi sits abruptly. * Harold just drops down where he was standing, resting his staff across his thighs. "... that's fine. Nnnn...." * Sophie leans against a convenient tree. "It doesn't matter to me, really." * Nick leans against a tree and fingers his mace. * Tiffany sets down her pack and rifles through it for some rations. "How far do you guys think we still have to go?" I don't think it can be that much further. * Emmet looks back at the clearing. "Did anybody say what side of the river the... goblins would be on?" Not that I can remember. I don't see why they couldn't be on both... There's lots of fun hiding spots to ambush "adventurers" like us. Man... I still can't believe this is happening. Hm. Guys? There's a path on the other side of the river. ... there is? * Emmet is looking at something on the other side of the river, a short distance from the far end of a big log that spans the water. Yeah. * Indeed, now that it's been pointed out, there's a footpath leading off away from the river. * Fadi looks up at Emmet, then looks in the direction he's lookin'. ...So? So, who do you think uses it? * Fadi nods. "I see your point." * Nick puzzles over this for a moment, and brightens. "Oh!" * Tiffany looks over there. "So there is... We must be getting close. Then again, if that path isn't guarded, I don't know what would be." Probably a good thing we stopped here and not out there, then. * Sophie looks over. "Hm." Maybe I should take this stupid armor off.. * Nick looks down at it, annoyed. ... but how would we get across the river to it? You paid for the armor, didn't you? It would be kind of a waste not to use it. * Probably across the log laying across the river. You want it? Yeah, really. It can't be *that* uncomfortable... Oh, it is! * Emmet smirks. "Sure, I'll take it. But not if I have to pay for it." Well, do you want to see how effective it is, then? It's effectively hotter than the sun! >_< Well, some of us could just swim the river... it's moving fast, but it's not like we won't end up on the other side downriver. Just a suggestion, as if there are snakes in there, I'm sooooo not swimming it. * Harold has just now noticed the log, so he's going to hope that no one was paying attention to him back then. You sure you want it, Emmet? You could just go across the log, you know? ... well, there's a log. We could walk across. Sure, fine. If you're giving it away we might as well not waste it. If it'll even fit me. I'm just getting nervous and second-guessing everything I guess... Everything easy just seems too easy, y'know? Log included. I'd sooner walk across the log than wade through. ..Nah, I'll keep it. Heat's better than a cut. * Emmet grins at Nick and then turns to Tiffany. "We could cross the log one or two at a time, so we're not all on it at once." Well, if we fell in, we'd probably have to swim.... it is a bit dangerous. * Fadi puts his shoes back on, gets up, folds the blanket, and stows it in his backpack. "That's what I've been trying to tell you. Now... Let's get going." All right... but let's at least do a little search of the clearing before we commit to being vulnerable and crossing the log... ok? Sounds good to me. * Emmet looks at the river when Harold mentions having to swim it. "If you fall in, and you're not sure if you can beat the current, you're supposed to at least roll over on your back and keep your feet downstream. So you don't hit your head on a rock." * Fadi nods. * Sophie shrugs. "I guess so." Well! That's... comforting... * Tiffany begins slowly moving forward toward the clearing, her hand holding one of her darts. She pays a lot of attention to the underbrush, but also scans the lone tree thoroughly. * Emmet offers Harold a sort of wry grin before following Tiffany in. He doesn't look at any one thing with any more care than another, but instead scans the underbrush, the canopy, the opposite riverbank... * Fadi draws his sword and starts moving into the clearing along the edges of the brush. * Nick pulls out his mace, following Emmet closely. * The clearing is fairly large, especially for this forest, but as it turns out, it's not actually "clear." There's a massive tree in the center, its trunk nearly fifteen feet across. The sheer lack of light beneath its branches has forced the surrounding foliage back a significant distance from its trunk, though, creating a large clearing around it. * Extending across the river is a massive, partially sunken fallen tree. While not quite as large as the one that has created the clearing, it is still massive enough that climbing on will require some work. Walking across, on the other hand, shouldn't be much problem at all. It looks almost as steady as a rock, in spite of the water flowing through and under it. * Fadi looks carefully at the edges of the clearing, for any of those 'goblin ambushes' Alfred talked about. * Nick also scans the clearing carefully. * Tiffany slows. "I have a bad feeling about this. The tree crossing the river looks uprooted, but I don't see a hole from where it once stood... It was moved there." * Harold follows the others into the clearing, glancing around warily. Meaning someone's been here. * Sophie follows suit, and scans the area as well. "Could be. Then again, it could have been put there by someone who wants to cross the river." * Sadly, your vigilance is not to be rewarded, as there do not appear to be any goblin ambushes present in and around the clearing. * Harold breathes a sigh of relief, after a few minutes of hesitation. Anything? I don't see anything... let's move on. * Fadi glances over at the tree trunk. "'don't see anything out there. What do you say we start goin' over that log." Looks clear to me. * Fadi and Harold's feet choose this moment to make their aching very, very well known. * Emmet nods. "Okay. How many of us will be crossing at a time?" Well.. I would think one. If something does happen, we won't be tied up. * Fadi curses. He leans against the bigass tree... I guess I can go first, having the armor and all. * Tiffany moves over to the downed tree. "I'd think one at a time... anyone with ranged weapons should wait on this side and provide cover if needed." Tiffany doesn't point out that she has darts, and would therefore not have to go first. ..After we stop for a moment. * Harold leans too-heavily against the center tree trunk once he's in the clearing, fighting both to keep his knees from buckling, and to keep his severe discomfort to himself. He's thoroughly convinced the party doesn't have a very high opinion of him as is, and isn't about to lower it further by begging for an extended rest. * Sophie shrugs. "I'll go across first. I don't mind." * Tiffany nodds. "We should wait until everyone's ready, though. A rest here might not be an awful idea, now that it looks clear." I suppose not. Let's rest a bit, then. * It is, in fact, getting on towards late afternoon. I've got a bedroll if any of you really need some rest. * Fadi leans against the tree. If he's in discomfort, he's doing a reasonable job of hiding it, but the fact that he's leaning against the tree doesn't help his case. * Emmet looks up. "How long are we going to rest? I have a feeling that it wouldn't be a very good idea to be too close to the home territory of these 'goblins' when it's dark outside." * Tiffany kneels by the log, scanning the opposite bank. She sets herself up against the log in a manner to give herself a good view from to the other side of the river, while hiding from curious observers on the other side. A good long rest... might be good, before we try something as arduous as crossing the river. * Sophie sits down on the grass and holds her head in her hands, looking across the river. She nods to Harold. As far as being out at night, I don't think we're going to have a choice about that. * Harold slides down until he's sitting down once more. * The clearing actually appears fairly well worn, as if it's used as either a meeting place or a campsite relatively frequently. Other than that and the sheer size of the tree, there is little remarkable about it. * Fadi pulls out the blanket yet again and sets it down. He takes a seat on it, leaning against the tree. * Harold eyes the campsite for a few moments, his mind beginning to work despite his severe fatigue. "... wait...." * Emmet takes his attention from the forest and the riverbank long enough to look at Harold. "What?" * Sophie looks over to Harold. "Yes?" * Tiffany listens intently, but continues to scan the opposite side of the river's underbrush. ... look around. We aren't the first people to be here. * Fadi glances around the campsite. "Dammit. Looks like we might be at some sort of meeting place right here..." ..Ohboy. And if the only other beings who frequent this area are goblins... then maybe we don't have to go to them. Maybe they can come to us! Are you saying *we* should set up an ambush? Actually... that's a pretty good idea. Hmmm... You know, that is pretty good. * Emmet looks around, as Harold suggested. "Oh. You're right." He takes a few steps, walking over to a dark spot between the fallen log and the huge tree. Keeping his axe to one side, he kneels and dips his fingers into a thin layer of soot. "I don't know..." *** Segev is now known as Awaymancer At the very least, we shouldn't rest out in the open here. * Fadi glances over at Emmet. "Can ya tell how long it's been since they've been here?" * Emmet rubs the soot between his fingers and then wipes his hand off on his jeans, leaving a small grubby smear. "This place probably hasn't been used as a campsite for a few weeks." Think they'll come now then? Hmm... Well, that depends. They may have stopped because they don't come here at all any more, or they may come out once every two or three weeks, or even once a year. I know I've been on camping trips where a site will go unused for months at a time. Well... how about this. Let's stay here for a few hours and rest, but hide ourselves off the path. Yeah, I know what you mean... All I know for sure is that as long as this side of the river is 'secure' (relatively speaking), then the lynch point is the log... we should watch over it at all costs. If the goblins appear we can ambush them, and if they don't, we can continue on knowing that we're on the right track. * Fadi nods. * Harold pulls himself up and heads for the underbrush at the sides of the clearing, working diligently to conceal himself behind some bushes. * Sophie nods. "It sounds like a decent plan." * Tiffany stands up and brushes herself off. "Well, I guess I should get up from here and head over to the underbrush." * Fadi gets up and packs away the blanket. He heads over to the underbrush and hides... Hiding is good, espically when it's from stuff that's trying to kill you. * Tiffany moves over to the underbrush and settles down in it, content on hiding while keeping a sharp eye on the opposite shore. * Sophie follows Tiffany and finds herself a nice hiding spot. * Emmet finds a hiding spot for himself, as well. One that doesn't allow the massive tree to obscure his view of the log bridge. * Fadi 's hiding spot is right next to the neck of the trail, so he can see the entire clearing and the opposite shore, but he can't see the trail that was mentioned earlier. * Harold settles down in his hiding place, which affords a partial view only of the massive log bridge. Even then, he's not too focused on watching what's around him, but instead is waiting for his muscles to stop feeling like rubber and the throbbing in his feet to subside. * Nick moves somewhere between Fadi and Emmet, setting up his bedroll. * Fadi takes out his blanket and sets it up as a sort of mat for him to sleep on. * In spite of their best intentions otherwise, our novice adventurers all fall asleep no more than three hours or so into their rest period. They've had an exhausting day, especially with nearly stepping on a snake that could probably swallow them whole. * Luckily, many of our heroes are either light sleepers, nature-boys, or accustomed to having true quiet in the dead of the night and not having to ignore police sirens and gunfire. * Fadi, Harold, Tiffany, and Emmet are all startled awake by loud-seeming grunts from the other side of the river. Mm? * Fadi stumbles awake without saying a word once he realizes the situation. He looks to the other side of the river. * Tiffany awakens and slowly picks up a dart from where it fell as she dozed off and looks across the river. * Nick snores. Loudly. * Emmet rubs at his eyes and peers toward the log bridge. * Harold narrowly manages to keep himself from _jerking_ awake at the sound, as he remembers where he is. He freezes in place and strains to hear the sound again, and identify it. * Tiffany notices the strange figures across the river and turns to where Sophie lay, asleep. She gently shakes her, placing her other hand near the unconcious girls' mouth, to stifle any waking noises. * Sophie opens her eyes and looks at Tiffany. * Emmet glares over in Nick's direction, but he's too far away to wake the skater without crashing noisily through the underbrush. * More grunts come from the other end of the log as people help themselves up onto a log that is taller than they are. * Tiffany nodds across the clearing, hoping that her slow movement to ready a dart for throwing says more than words could. * Harold realizes it's probably the goblins in a few seconds, and then... realizes that he has no idea what to do, just offhand. He's separate from the others and looks toward them to see what they're doing... * Fadi shakes his head. * Sophie stands up and slowly draws her sword, making sure to keep hidden and silent. * Fadi draws his sword as well, and quietly moves over to Nick to wake the sleeping guy. * In the darkness, it's difficult to tell what precisely the grunts are coming from, but they're definitely small, and coming quickly across the river as if they're accustomed to crossing it. * Fadi nudges Nick awake and puts his hand over Nick's mouth. * Harold sees his friends preparing to attack, and reluctantly takes his crossbow off of his backpack. He rises very slowly, trying to give his eyes time to adjust to the poor light... * Nick starts awake. "Mmph!" * Tiffany turns back to Sophie and makes "talkie" noises with her hands... her eyes look questioning. * Fadi puts his hand up to his lip. "Shhh..." He picks up his sword and points at the goblins. * Nick looks around, nods and pulls out his mace. * Fadi also removes his hand from Nick's mouth. Eww... * Sophie raises an eyebrow at Tiffany. * Emmet is just close enough to the others to get the idea that they are making themselves ready for an attack. He carefully shifts his grip on the axe so that he can hold it with both hands--though not necessarily 'properly.' * Nick glances at Fadi and sighs disgustedly. * Fadi moves to where he was before and gets ready to spring out at them. * Tiffany shrugs and turns back to the gobbers, realizing her attempts to infer that a peaceful solution might be best have failed. * As the beings come closer, they're more easily recognizable as something definitely not human. They're twisted little evil-looking humanoids with long-handled maces, and they're moving quickly down off the log and into the clearing. * Emmet stares at the little things when they come into view. Any thoughts he might have been harboring that this was just some sort of weird prank fly from his head instantly. * The twisted little goblins, for goblins they must be, even if they look little like the goblins from Labyrinth, move swiftly into the clearing and settle in against the tree for a little rest. * Tiffany turns to Sophie and raises three fingers... then only two... then one... * Fadi smiles as they settle down. * Sophie nods to Tiffany, sword ready. * Harold gets into what he assumes would be a firing stance. His finger tenses against the trigger-- and then remains there, waiting for the moment where he can push himself to do what he knows he has to do. * Nick raises his mace slightly.. * Tiffany lowers the last finger and rises, throwing a dart at the closest goblin. * Fadi keeps his sword drawn. He doesn't seem to have any qualms about hacking something up... * Emmet grips his axe tightly and tries to convince himself that this is going to be just like chopping firewood. Angry, moving firewood with sharp metal bits. * The goblin squeals, alerting itself and its comrades as a dart embeds itself next to its ear in the tree. * Harold pulls the trigger as the sudden sound spikes his adrenaline, sending him into fight-or-flight mode. * The bolt thunks soundly into the goblin's shoulder and it screams in pain, though it is unfortunately not pinned to the tree. * Sophie crouches in the underbrush and waits for her chance. * Nick charges out of the underbrush, swinging the mace two-handed.. right over the goblin's head. * Fadi charges out at the goblin that Nick missed at and slashes at it, cleanly severing its head off its shoulders. * Emmet watches the others charge out and hesitates. His eyes flicker to where Harold stands with the crossbow and he nods to himself, waiting tensely for the right time to emerge from hiding... * Tiffany takes a small step to behind where Sophie hides and lets loose with another dart, striking the same goblin with a glancing blow. * The goblin continues squealing as a second dart brackets his head with the first. * Harold steps to the side, reloads, and fires again! But now that he's thinking about what he's doing, his hands are far too shaky to make this shot at a second goblin stand a chance of success. * Sophie trusts that she's still hidden and waits for her chance. * A goblin proves that Sophie's trust was well kept as he charges the dart-throwing sorceror wannabe. * Sophie rises and stabs the goblin through the shoulder as he charges. * The goblin jerks sideways as he's run through with the long, pointy metal blade and his long-handled mace catches on a root as he tries to swing underhanded at Tiffany. * The goblin closest to the log bridge turns to face Harold and screams a battle-cry as he charges, long-handled mace raised high into the air. Fadi tries his best to intervene on Harold's behalf, but his weapon is still out of position from missing the goblin he charged. Just as the goblin nears Harold, though, Emmet comes barreling out of the underbrush and the goblin is forced to backpedal to avoid the mass of metal that drops in front of him. * Harold , though it may be hard to see in the dim light, has turned several shades paler and gives the distinct impression that he's lost a good five or ten minutes off of his natural lifespan. * Nick charges around the tree, aiming for another goblin.. and does precisely the same thing as last time, swinging right over the goblin's head. * Fadi keeps his eyes on the goblin that charged past him, and steps back, taking a quick, but ill-guided swing at the Goblin. * The goblin that Fadi abandoned in favor of the one that attacked Harold steps forward, swinging his long-handled mace to angrily smash into Fadi's foot. Fucking piece of goddam shit! * The goblin that Nick charged so valiantly swings right back in spite of the mace, but it is still so rattled from the darts sticking out from the tree that it hits nothing but air. * Tiffany takes a step away from the goblin that charged her and throws a dart at it, her confidence gaining with each success. As this dart flies harmlessly into the underbrush, her confidence begins to fade again. * Harold panics and darts around the goblin that's menacing him, swinging at it with the massive quarterstaff he's still carrying in his off hand with a white-knuckled grip. * The goblin squeals in surprise as the puny looking boy whips a big stick around at him to glance painfully off his skull. * Sophie pulls her thin sword out of the goblin's shoulder and thrusts it into the thing's neck instead. * Emmet glances around the dim clearing quickly and steps behind Fadi, trying to cover the other boy's back. He swings at the goblin to Fadi's left, but once again his axe falls short. He curses darkly under his breath. * Harold's chosen opponent swings viciously with that long-handled mace, but misses badly as he tries to also pay attention to the guy behind him. * Nick tries to whack his opponent by swinging downward, but misses by an inch to the left. "Dammit!" * Harold begins to move out of the swing's way, but it's already missed him before he really has any time to do something significant. * Fadi swings *just* shy of the Goblin's side, making a very nice breeze for the gobbo in the blender. * Fadi's goblin rears back with his long-handled mace, but the mace catches on the bark of the tree and is nearly yanked from the poor guy's hand. * Nick and his goblin appear to be doing something more akin to sparring than fighting as they feint angrily at each other with maces. * Tiffany moves forward past the dead goblin and throws a dart to help Nick in his sparring... Unfortunately, she proves that feinting pointlessly can be done at long range, too... * Harold bats furiously and wholly inaccurately at his opponent, his fighting degenerating further as he begins letting himself think too much. * Sophie dashes out of the trees, for the goblin Nick is fighting. She impales it cleanly on the blade of her sword. * The goblin screams and thrashes on the end of Sophie's blade. * Emmet swings again at the goblin beside Fadi. Unfortunately, the hideous little thing refuses to sit still, and he misses yet again. * Harold's opponent decides that getting out from between these two nasties is a good idea, and backs up to stand next to a comrade. He strikes out with his long-handled mace as he retreats, but the extra distance causes him to fall short. * Nick grunts in exasperation, rears back, and slams his mace down onto the goblin's head, promptly flattening it. * Fadi rears back and brings the sword down with both hands, slicing the goblin very messily in half. Man, that sword packs a punch. * The last standing goblin turns and runs for its puny life from the two men with massive weapons. It dives frantically into the water, leaving its weapon behind. A scream comes from the water a few moments later, and then abruptly cuts off. If snakes could laugh, there would be one chuckling evilly in satisfaction. Get back here bitch! I'm not done kicking your ass! * Tiffany stops reaching for another dart and moves to collect those she already threw. Her blatant shuddering is indicitive of her pity at the fate of being eaten by a snake. * The smell of goblin blood and feces rises into the cool night air. * Tiffany finishes retrieving her darts and leans uncertainly against the tree where one of them was wedged. She stares at the blood running off the dart, her eyes wide with the knowledge of what she just participated in. * Nick raises a finger at Sophie in a 'one second' gesture, turns around, staggers a few steps, and releases his lunch. * Emmet lets go of his axe with one hand, so that the heavy blade settles gently on the ground by he feet. His eyes are drawn to the bloody, stinking corpse at his feet and he gags quietly, trying to keep his revulsion contained. * Fadi frowns as his nose starts taking in the fumes... He quickly heads off to the trees. Just a little later, you can hear the punk throwing up. * Sophie slashes her sword through the air once to get most of the blood off of it, then pulls out a cloth and wipes it off. "Well, that wasn't so bad." Oh, shit, that sucked. >_< * Harold collapses backward, landing on his rear and dropping his weapons a short distance in the process. He looks on at the goblin corpses in open horror, and vainly attempts to pull a fold of his cloak over his nose to block out the horrible smell. He'd liek to look away to block out the horrible sight, but he doesn't quite have that in him. * Emmet hefts his axe, which is incidentally completely unscathed, and walks over to the river bank. He inhales deeply once he is there, trying to clear the stench from his sinuses by ventilating the hopefully fresher air that moves along with the river. * Fadi has sat down on his blanket, and he's looking at his sword and his hands in the moonlight... * Sophie sheathes her blade once it's clean, watching the others. * Nick absently wipes his mace off, sighs, and throws up again. * Fadi hasn't wiped the blood off of his greatsword yet... Something seems to be troubling him. * Tiffany moves away from the tree at a slow swagger. Stopping near the river, she dunks her darts in, removing the blood of her foes from her hands and weapons. * Fadi closes his eyes, takes a deep breath, and then heads over to the shore. He dunks the greatsword in, hopefully getting most of the blood off, and wincing with every step. [Session... END]
