One of the Free Jinn, Tarek was not present for the initial bargain forged by the protagonists, but did ratify it.
As a Jinn of Windless Air, Tarek is extremely adept socially, and looks forward to experiencing a great many things this winter as he attempts to determine what contest he will sponsor (and offer himself up as a prize) in for the Great Tournament.
