First Impressions

He's a middle-aged man with a bit of a wide face, and big, owlish eyes behind an actual pair of gaijin spectacles. Not the most common thing to see, but among bookish sorts, they've become a bit of a badge. All that aside, however, the man is not at all what you'd expect of, well, a nerd. He's quite fashionably dressed, with a fine scholar's cap, and seems to actually put all his attention on you as soon as you're announced.
