The connection to the rememberers makes Minku… nervous around non-Crab (or non-familiar?) Rokugani. The nezumi history is filled with centuries of distrust of humans, and vice versa: treating nezumi as plague carriers and thieves, and the rumored stories of the green green white tribe being massacred amongst the phoenix are not comforting either.

'If you make it that you're just openly distrustful, it sabotage your social with people who expect to be trusted, but not with prior who don't'.
